Assistant director Derek Bruff and former assistant director Jeff Johnston co-authored an article titled "Case Study on the Pedagogical Impact of Tablet PCs as a Presentation Medium in Engineering Classrooms" in International Journal of Engineering Education, 24(3), 606-615. The other authors were current and former Vanderbilt faculty members Greg Walker, Mark Stremler, and Sean Brophy.

The Center for Teaching was featured in the December 2008 issue of the Vanderbilt View. The article highlights the center's new, flexible classroom space and the creation of a new position whose purpose is to assist faculty with teaching technologies.
