Vanderbilt is continuing high-profile events through Oct. 17 in observance of the university’s first-ever campus-wide Free Speech Week, part of Chancellor Daniel Diermeier’s recently launched Dialogue Vanderbilt initiative. The event will bring high-profile guests to campus to discuss the current state of free expression and civil discourse.

Residential colleges and the Vanderbilt Visions program invite all Vanderbilt faculty, students and staff to nominate a book for the Class of 2028 Campus Reading. Next year’s theme is “Embracing the Debate.” You may nominate up to three texts of any genre by current or deceased authors.

Student Care Network hosts annual Wellbeing Fair Oct. 26 |

Student Care Network offices, campus partners and student organizations will be in attendance Oct. 26 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. to share information about services, engage students in activities and hand out swag. There will be free food, gentle yoga/sound meditation, chair massages and more. This event is open to all Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff.
