The 10 Commodores on the 2022-23 roster combined to record a cumulative GPA above 3.5 for the academic year, earning an Outstanding Team Academic Award with Presidents Special Recognition. In addition to the team award, three student-athletes from the program were named All-America Scholars.

| Campus Dining announces fall 2023 Flex Meal Deal for faculty, staff, graduate and professional students |

Flex Meals can be purchased in blocks of 10; they are regularly $150 (plus tax) per block. During the fall 2023 Flex Meal Deal, faculty, staff, and graduate and professional students will receive three bonus meals per block purchased. The promotion runs Aug. 16–23.

Nashville Children’s Theatre will present the world premiere of Strong Inside, a stage adaptation of Andrew Maraniss’ acclaimed biography of SEC basketball and civil rights pioneer Perry Wallace, Sept. 7–26 in a unique collaboration with Vanderbilt University. Tickets are on sale now, and members of the Vanderbilt community can receive a 50 percent discount to select performances.
