2.   Story Photo Vanderbilt, Nashville Children’s Theatre bring life of Perry Wallace to the stage
    Nashville Children’s Theatre will present the world premiere of Strong Inside, a stage adaptation of Andrew Maraniss’ acclaimed biography of SEC basketball and civil rights pioneer Perry Wallace, Sept. 7–26 in a unique collaboration with Vanderbilt University. 3.   AlertVU test scheduled for Aug. 29
    Vanderbilt University Public Safety will conduct a test of the AlertVU emergency notification system on Tuesday, Aug. 29, at 2:30 p.m. Before the test, it is recommended that all staff, faculty and students review and update their contact information to ensure AlertVU message delivery.     Vanderbilt rising senior Induja “Indu” Kumar has been selected as a 2023 Morris K. Udall and Stewart L. Udall Foundation Scholar. 5.   Engineering professor and graduate student receive American Institute of Chemical Engineers awards
    Piran Kidambi has received a 2023 Young Investigator Award from the Nanoscale Science and Engineering Forum of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
