Dow, McLean assume new roles in College of Arts and Science dean’s office |

Bonnie Dow will serve as vice dean of the College of Arts and Science for the 2023–24 academic year, and John McLean has been named dean of graduate education and research for Arts and Science after recently stepping down from his role as associate provost for graduate education in the Office of the Provost. Both began in their new roles on July 1.

Lee reappointed vice chancellor for athletics and university affairs and athletic director |

Candice Storey Lee has been reappointed as Vanderbilt University’s vice chancellor for athletics and university affairs and athletic director, Chancellor Daniel Diermeier announced. The reappointment is for a five-year term beginning July 1, 2023.

The College of Arts and Science will embark on a construction project later this summer to renovate and expand Garland Hall.
