WeGo Public Transit fall system changes take effect Oct. 3
 
WeGo Public Transit has adopted a service plan change for fall 2021 that will expand pre-pandemic service levels in two phases. The changes reflect transit system customer feedback and include expanded hours and improved frequency of service with more buses on select routes.

The fall Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 30, from 3 to 6:30 p.m. A virtual fair will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. on Zoom, followed by an in-person event in the Student Life Center Commodore Ballroom from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

This semester’s inaugural Vanderbilt History Seminar will explore the work of artist Kara Walker and the memory of slavery. The Sept. 30 lecture corresponds with the Frist Art Museum’s ongoing exhibition “Kara Walker: Cut to the Quick” and the Vanderbilt Fine Arts Gallery’s “Sympathetic Magic: Works of Faith, Healing and Transformation,” which includes Walker’s works.
