1.   Tung, Sharpley-Whiting appointed to vice provost roles in undergraduate education, arts and libraries
    Two highly respected faculty members known for their academic leadership and impactful research are taking on new roles to advance undergraduate education, scholarship and creative expression at the university. Tiffiny Tung will become vice provost for undergraduate education, and Tracy Denean Sharpley-Whiting will serve as vice provost for arts and libraries. [ Read More ]
     
     
2.   Johnson launches Office of Experiential Learning and Immersion Vanderbilt; Floyd appointed senior director
    Assistant Provost for Immersion and Experiential Learning Amy Johnson has launched a new Office of Experiential Learning and Immersion Vanderbilt, merging the existing Global Education Office and Office of Immersion Resources. Carolyn Floyd, who most recently led the Office of Immersion Resources, has been appointed senior director of the new Office of Experiential Learning and Immersion Vanderbilt. 3.   Story Photo 2022 Nichols Humanitarian Fund recipients celebrated at spring gathering
    The 2022 cohort of the Nichols Humanitarian Fund gathered for a meet-and-greet event this spring with Edward C. Nichols Jr., JD’70, and his wife, Janice Nichols, who established the fund in 2006. Thirty-two Vanderbilt students received awards from the Nichols Humanitarian Fund in 2022 to complete humanitarian projects throughout the summer break. [ Read More ]
     
     
4.   Eight first-year students chosen as newest Ingram Scholars
    Eight incoming first-year students have been named to the newest class of the Ingram Scholars Program. They were selected from nearly 800 students for the signature and highly competitive Vanderbilt program. [ Read More ]
