    Jennifer Escalas, Dean Samuel B. and Evelyn R. Richmond Professor and professor of marketing, has been named associate dean of academic programs at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management. 4.   Faculty, staff, students, alumni invited to submit Vanderbilt Sesquicentennial Grant proposals
    As Vanderbilt prepares to mark its sesquicentennial—the 150th anniversary of the university’s founding—in 2023, a new program will support exploration of the university’s past and future. The Office of the Chancellor is launching the Sesquicentennial Grant Program to fund activities and projects that engage with the university’s history, look to its future and explore what makes Vanderbilt distinctive and unique. 5.   Tennessee early voting ends tomorrow; sign up for election notifications
    Early voting for the Aug. 4 primary election in Tennessee ends this Saturday, July 30. Candidates for governor, U.S. House of Representatives and the Tennessee House and Senate, among others, are on the ballot. 6.   Davidson County COVID community level high
    The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s COVID-19 community levels are a tool to help communities decide what prevention steps to take based on the latest data. Levels can be low, medium or high and are determined by looking at hospital beds being used, hospital admissions, and the total number of new COVID-19 cases in an area.
