Today President Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton and Clinton Foundation Vice Chair Chelsea Clinton announced more participants and programming for the Clinton Global Initiative University 2023 annual meeting, scheduled for March 3–5 at Vanderbilt University. CGI U’s 15th annual meeting’s theme is “Homecoming: Strengthening Community, Leadership and Action.”

Women’s History Month event series begins March 1
 
Vanderbilt University will celebrate Women’s History Month beginning Wednesday, March 1, with a series of events hosted by the Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center. The center has collaborated with numerous campus partners to organize events around the theme “Women Who Tell Our Stories,” which aims to celebrate the struggles and achievements of all women from every background.

The annual spring Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair will be Tuesday, April 11, in the Student Life Center Commodore Ballroom from 3 to 6 p.m. Undergraduate students who have completed research at Vanderbilt are encouraged to apply.

Vanderbilt Project on Unity and American Democracy’s 2023 poetry contest open for submissions
 
In partnership with Vanderbilt’s Department of English and MFA Program in Creative Writing, the Vanderbilt Project on Unity and American Democracy is soliciting poems from students currently enrolled in any Tennessee college or university. Students may submit a poem in the style of their choosing that explores what unity through American democracy means to them.
