Search committee to identify next dean of College of Arts and Science
 
Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs C. Cybele Raver has appointed a committee to conduct a national search for the next dean of Vanderbilt University’s College of Arts and Science. The committee consists of a range of faculty from Arts and Science and collaborating colleges, as well as non-faculty peers.

Vanderbilt University will recognize Juneteenth as an official paid holiday for all university staff in 2023 and beyond, and, beginning in 2024, the university will not hold classes on June 19.

Vanderbilt to deploy first all-electric multi-vehicle shuttle fleet at a university in Tennessee
 
The new all-electric shuttle fleet will provide eco-friendly vehicles for VandyRide, a nighttime shuttle service for Vanderbilt students, by the start of the fall 2023 semester. In addition to being environmentally friendly, the new shuttles are also quieter and smoother than traditional buses, providing a more comfortable ride for passengers.
