VandyBoys win College World Series opener; next game is today
 
Vanderbilt secured a 7-6 win over Arizona in 12 innings at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha on Saturday in the Commodores’ opening game of the 2021 College World Series. The VandyBoys next play North Carolina State Monday at 6 p.m. CT. The game will be televised live on ESPN.

Staff and postdocs: Submit vaccination records by July 19 to be eligible for $1,000 prize drawing
 
COVID-19 vaccinations will be required for all members of the Vanderbilt community for the 2021–22 academic year. To thank those who submit their vaccination records early, the Division of Administration will conduct a drawing for 25 Vanderbilt University-employed staff and postdocs who submit their records to the university’s vaccine portal by 8 a.m. on July 19.

A discussion about the 2020 Supreme Court ruling on Bostock v. Clayton County and its ongoing relevance in American jurisprudence amid recent increases in anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation is scheduled for Tuesday, June 22, from 11 a.m. to noon CT. The ‘Dores in Dialogue event is presented in partnership with LAVA, the LGBTQIA+ Association of Vanderbilt Alumni.
