    The CDC announced on Tuesday new guidelines regarding outdoor masking for vaccinated individuals when alone or in small groups. 4.   Vanderbilt names newest residential college in honor of Marieke and Jeff Rothschild
    Vanderbilt University’s newest residential college will be named Rothschild College in recognition of the transformational $20 million gift that Marieke and Jeff Rothschild, BA’77, MS’79, made in 2016 to accelerate the development of the residential college system. The Rothschilds’ generous contribution has helped advance a key pillar of Vanderbilt’s academic strategic plan—enhancing the undergraduate residential experience. [ Read More ]
     
     
5.   Construction to begin on Vanderbilt graduate and professional student housing development
    Construction will begin on Vanderbilt University’s housing development for graduate and professional students during the week of April 26. Adjacent to campus on Broadway, between Lyle and 20th avenues, the development is the culmination of student feedback and the university’s desire to provide graduate and professional students housing near campus at below-market rates. 10.   Record number of students awarded VUSRP funding for summer 2021

14.   Campus Dining hosts inaugural Underground Supper Club
    Vanderbilt Campus Dining recently created an unforgettable experience for a select group of students featuring al fresco dining and a chef-curated tasting menu. The selected students assisted Campus Dining during the spring semester by providing feedback and recommendations, and Campus Dining plans to continue the program next semester.
