    The Vandy-in-Hollywood summer internship program, now approaching its 15th summer, has redoubled its focus on diversity by establishing a scholarship fund that enables all students to participate. 7.   Information sessions available for students interested in undergraduate data science minor
    Vanderbilt announced earlier this year the addition of an undergraduate minor in data science beginning with the fall 2021 term. The university will offer several information sessions to provide an overview of the minor and answer any questions for interested students. [ Read More ]
8.   University Librarian Valerie Hotchkiss to step down in June
    Valerie Hotchkiss announced today that she will step down as leader of the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries at Vanderbilt University on June 30.    [ Read More ]
9.   QuestBridge, PersistVU host Money Matters Week March 30–April 2
    Money Matters Week, which aims to uplift and broaden the Vanderbilt community’s understanding of the ways in which people and students from low- and lower-income backgrounds experience and navigate systemic and social barriers, will feature a week of events March 30–April 2. The programming will include a faculty panel, virtual workshops and games, and online information on financial literacy and wellness. [ Read More ]
10.   Annual Crawford Lecture will discuss burnout March 31
    Author Amelia Nagoski will give a virtual talk titled “Burnout: What to do When You’re Overwhelmed and Exhausted About Everything You Have to do and Still Worry that You’re not Doing Enough” on Wednesday, March 31. The event, this year’s Crawford Lecture, will begin at 7 p.m. CT and is part of Vanderbilt’s 2021 celebration of Women’s History Month. [ Read More ]
