A humanities research team at Vanderbilt’s Center for Genetic Privacy and Identity in Community Settings recently explored various topics on genetic privacy in 21st-century literature, film and TV. The team’s novel approach to literary studies involved undergraduates, graduate students and faculty in all aspects of the research process while spanning multiple disciplines.

Infrastructure and utility assessment to occur in historic core near Kirkland, Neely, Benson
 
In preparation of an infrastructure and utility project planned for this summer in the historic core of campus near Kirkland Hall, Neely Auditorium and Benson Hall, hydro-drilling—a less invasive process using high-pressure water to dig—will occur at six to seven spot locations starting on Monday, March 22.

The Data Science for Social Good program is a 10-week experience in which participants work as part of a data science team on a pre-selected project for a not-for-profit organization, Vanderbilt group or government organization. The program is open to current undergraduates and graduate students enrolled at Vanderbilt.
