    Members of the Vanderbilt community will participate in First-Generation Celebration Day, a nationwide event planned for Sunday, Nov. 8, that seeks to honor the motivations and accomplishments of first-generation students and graduates at colleges and universities across the country. 5.   University pilots indoor dining on campus
    Beginning Nov. 2, the university launched an indoor dining pilot at the Sarratt Student Center, Rand Hall and Central Library Community Room, with the intention of expanding the pilot to The Commons Center Dining Room before the end of the fall semester.   [ Read More ]

10.   21st Avenue southbound closed due to VUMC construction work Nov. 7, 14
    A partial closure of the southbound lane of 21st Avenue between the entrance to the School of Nursing and the intersection of 21st and Edgehill avenues is schedule for Saturday, Nov. 7, and Saturday, Nov. 14, starting at approximately 6:30 a.m. each day. [ Read More ]
