Search committee announced to find next dean of School of Nursing
 
Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Susan R. Wente has appointed a committee to conduct a national search for the next dean of the Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. Linda Norman, current dean and Valere Potter Menefee Professor of Nursing, announced last week that she will step down from the position in June 2021.

Vanderbilt Phase 2+ of Return to Campus Plan remains in place as Nashville moves to Phase 3
 
Though the city has transitioned to Phase 3 of its Roadmap to Reopening Nashville, the university remains in Phase 2+ of the Vanderbilt Return to Campus Plan. Vanderbilt community members are expected to abide by university protocols at all times, whether on or off campus.

During the Oct. 3 home football opener against LSU, the Commodore football team will wear special helmets featuring a vintage Vandy logo first worn during the 1979-82 seasons.
