Return to Campus Update for Aug. 31
 
Vanderbilt has updated its public dashboard to report the prior day’s number of positive COVID-19 test results and will begin testing all undergraduates weekly as well as expand its periodic testing across all campus groups. These additional tests, and the data drawn from them, are vital tools in helping the university slow the spread of COVID-19.

Nobel Prize-winning chemical engineer Frances Arnold will deliver Vanderbilt's fall John R. and Donna S. Hall Engineering Lecture on Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 4 p.m. Arnold's lecture, “Innovation by Evolution: Bringing New Chemistry to Life,” will be live streamed, and registration is required.

Test of AlertVU system scheduled for Sept. 1
 
Vanderbilt University Public Safety will conduct a test of the AlertVU emergency notification system on Tuesday, Sept. 1, at 2:30 p.m. CT. AlertVU rapidly sends notification messages in the event of an imminent threat or danger to the Vanderbilt community.
