In a message to university faculty, Faculty Senate Chair Catherine McTamaney, Faculty Senate Vice Chair Ben Harris and Provost Susan R. Wente provide additional clarity and address concerns regarding faculty members’ safe return to campus and how they will teach classes this fall.

Vanderbilt Phase 2 of Return to Campus Plan remains in place as Nashville reverts to prior phase
 
The university remains in phase 2 of its Vanderbilt Return to Campus Plan as the city of Nashville reverted to phase 2 of its Roadmap to Reopening Nashville Plan with modifications late last week. Vanderbilt moved to Phase 2 of its Return to Campus Plan on June 8.

In this two-hour online instructor-led workshop, participants will learn the skills to disrupt the impact of bias in their interactions, behaviors and decision-making and the various ways unconscious bias can impede the development of a diverse and inclusive work environment.

The EdAssist portal is now available for submitting fall 2020 tuition benefit applications, including dependents’ tuition applications. You can find the EdAssist log-in, tutorials and other resources on the tuition pages of the HR website.

Wireless network security update set for July 8
 
VUIT will update the vuNet and eduroam wireless networks on July 8. After the updates occur, all VU-managed devices will be automatically reconnected to the networks. However, personal smart devices or other non-Vanderbilt issued devices will need to be reconnected to the networks by the user.
