University update on March 3 tornado impact
 
Though the Vanderbilt campus escaped damage from a March 3 tornado, some members of the university community have been significantly impacted, including losing their homes, following the storm that hit Nashville during the early morning hours. University officials continue to reach out to students, faculty and staff to determine the impact for, and provide assistance to, those who live off-campus.

Women’s History Month event series kicks off March 9
 
Women’s History Month at Vanderbilt will begin with a kickoff event hosted by the Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center on Monday, March 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Sarratt Promenade. Throughout March, educational programs, workshops, film screenings, lectures and more are planned.
