David Williams II, former vice chancellor for athletics and university affairs and athletics director, has been named the recipient of the 2020 NCAA President’s Pat Summitt Award. Gail Williams will accept the award on her late husband’s behalf Jan. 23 at the NCAA Convention in Anaheim, California.

Kopstain announces new structure of Title IX and EEO offices
 
Stephanie Roth has been appointed interim associate vice chancellor for Title IX and equal employment opportunity, Vice Chancellor for Administration Eric Kopstain announced today. Roth also will serve as the university’s Title IX coordinator. The Office of Title IX and Student Discrimination and the Office of Equal Employment Opportunity both will report directly to Roth.

Annual report on campus sustainability efforts now available
 
Vanderbilt University greenhouse gas emissions have dropped 7 percent per square foot compared to FY17-18, and 18.5 percent compared to calendar year 2016. The findings are among those showcased in the annual sustainability report released today by FutureVU Sustainability in the Division of Administration.

Voter registration deadline for Tennessee primary is Feb. 3
 
The deadline to submit a registration form to vote in the 2020 presidential primary is Feb. 3. Vanderbilt University strongly encourages all students, faculty and staff to register to vote and participate in the democratic process.
