Events today will recognize Indigenous Peoples Day
 
A Día de la Raza and Indigenous Peoples Day community reception will be held today from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Sarratt Student Center, Room 335 (the Multicultural Lounge). In addition, an Indigenous Peoples Day celebration and reflection is planned from 6 to 8 p.m. this evening in Buttrick Hall, Room 102.

Women’s Center to host conversation with Gloria Steinem Nov. 1
 
The Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center, in partnership with the Chancellor’s Lecture Series, will host Gloria Steinem, an award-winning writer, feminist activist and co-founder of “Ms.” magazine, for a conversation on Nov. 1. Tickets for the event will be released on Oct. 15 at Sarratt Box Office and are available to those with a Vanderbilt University ID.
