University administrators to launch staff listening tour this Friday
 
Interim Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer Dr. André L. Churchwell, Vice Chancellor for Administration Eric Kopstain and Interim Associate Vice Chancellor for Human Capital and Business Services Laura Nairon will host a series of listening sessions for Vanderbilt University staff throughout 2019-20. The first stop will be at the Wyatt Center Rotunda from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. this Friday.

George Takei, an actor and social justice advocate who had a founding role in the original “Star Trek” television series, will speak at Vanderbilt Oct. 2 as part of the Chancellor’s Lecture Series. Flulapalooza happening today
 
Vanderbilt University Medical Center will host its ninth annual mass influenza vaccination event today. Flulapalooza 2019 will be held from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in a tent between Light Hall and the Veterans Administration Hospital. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to get a free flu shot during the event.
