7.   ‘SEC Nation’ to broadcast live from The Ingram Commons tomorrow
    “SEC Nation,” the SEC Network’s traveling pregame show, will kick off week 1 of the 2019 football season from The Martha Rivers Ingram Commons this Saturday, when Vanderbilt plays host to Georgia. The show airs live from 9 to 11 a.m., and Vanderbilt head coach Derek Mason is scheduled to appear at 10 a.m. Kickoff for the game is slated for 6:30 p.m. on the SEC Network. 9.   University eliminates single-use plastic water and soda bottles in operations on campus
    As part of its ongoing sustainability efforts, Vanderbilt has announced it will eliminate all single-use plastic water and soda bottles in its operations throughout dining facilities, markets and vending machines on campus, saving more than 430,000 plastic bottles per year and over 1.7 million bottles during a graduating class’s four-year experience.
