Evans and John Geer, dean of the College of Arts and Science and chair of the Chancellor Search Advisory Committee, will host a Vanderbilt community update on Wednesday, June 5, in Featheringill Hall to gather input and share information about the priorities and process guiding the search for Vanderbilt’s next leader.

Bleday goes 4th overall in MLB draft; 4 others selected through Wednesday
 
Vanderbilt right fielder J.J. Bleday was selected fourth overall in the Major League Baseball draft by the Miami Marlins on Monday night, becoming the 16th Commodore in the last 15 years to be selected in the opening round. Four other Commodore players were selected through the 10th round going into Wednesday.

Public comments welcome at VUPS accreditation visit today
 
An assessment team from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. will visit campus to examine all aspects of Vanderbilt University Public Safety’s policies and procedures, management, operations and support services. As part of the assessment, agency personnel and members of the community are invited to offer comments at a public information session on Wednesday, June 5, at 5 p.m.

Microsoft Office 365 sign-in enhancements coming in June
 
Over the next several months, VUIT will migrate all Outlook/Exchange mailboxes of VU faculty, staff and most graduate students from on-campus servers to Microsoft Outlook Office 365 in the cloud. To prepare for the Outlook/Exchange mailbox migration to Office 365, VUIT will be updating the way users sign in to Office 365 applications.
