Evans and John Geer, dean of the College of Arts and Science and chair of the Chancellor Search Advisory Committee, will host a Vanderbilt community update on Wednesday, June 5, in Featheringill Hall to gather input and share information about the priorities and process guiding the search for Vanderbilt’s next leader.

Vanderbilt to host NCAA Regional following SEC Tournament championship win
 
The Commodores have been tabbed the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Tournament and will welcome Indiana State, McNeese and Ohio State to Hawkins Field for the NCAA Nashville Regional beginning Friday. Vanderbilt leads the nation with 49 victories and captured the SEC regular season championship and SEC Tournament title.

Baseball’s Bleday named Golden Spikes finalist
 
Vanderbilt right fielder J.J. Bleday has been named one of four finalists for the 42nd Golden Spikes Award presented in partnership with the Rod Dedeaux Foundation, USA Baseball announced on Wednesday. The award honors the best amateur baseball player in the United States.

Microsoft Office 365 sign-in enhancements coming in June
 
Over the next several months, VUIT will migrate all Outlook/Exchange mailboxes of VU faculty, staff and most graduate students from on-campus servers to Microsoft Outlook Office 365 in the cloud. To prepare for the Outlook/Exchange mailbox migration to Office 365, VUIT will be updating the way users sign in to Office 365 applications.
