Annual picnic brings out employees for food, fun
 
Thousands of Vanderbilt University employees attended the annual Employee Appreciation Picnic: At the County Fair held Tuesday on Magnolia Lawn. Under sunny, blue skies, faculty and staff members enjoyed free food and activities designed to express thanks for the integral role they play in the university’s purpose and mission.

Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos announced today that nominations are now being accepted for the 2019-20 Chancellor’s Heart and Soul Staff Appreciation Awards. The awards celebrate Vanderbilt staff members’ dedication to the campus community.

Oracle Cloud update to include new features
 
A key feature of the Oracle Cloud update, scheduled to begin Friday, May 17, at 9 p.m. and end on Saturday, May 18, is an enhanced interface for all users on the “Expenses” module. A downtime notice will be displayed on the SkyVU website while the update is underway.
