Commodores advance to College World Series final

Vanderbilt defeated Texas Christian 7-1 on Friday to advance to the College World Series final for the second year in a row. In a rematch of last year's championship, the Commodores will defend their national title against Virginia in a best-of-three series beginning tonight at 7 p.m. on ESPN. Also, learn how head coach Tim Corbin is a strong role model for his players.

Biochemistry professor Richard Armstrong has died

A memorial service for Richard Armstrong, professor of biochemistry and chemistry, will be held at 1 p.m. today in Vanderbilt Divinity School’s Benton Chapel. Armstrong, who died June 18, was internationally known for his contributions to understanding detoxification enzymes.
