The test of the AlertVU emergency notification system originally scheduled for March 24 has been postponed due to the threat of severe weather. The test will be rescheduled for a later date.

Arts and Science Dean’s Office appoints divisional deans

Dean of the College of Arts and Science Lauren Benton has announced the appointment of two senior faculty members as divisional deans in the college. The new positions will facilitate academic planning in departments and programs within the three Arts and Science divisions: humanities, social sciences and sciences.

Vanderbilt Project Safe Center to become limited confidential resource in fall 2016

Vanderbilt University has taken another step in fostering a culture that encourages reporting incidents of sexual assault on campus. Beginning in the fall of 2016, the Project Safe Center for Sexual Misconduct Prevention and Response will become a limited confidential resource for students.
