Vanderbilt management professor Richard L. Oliver dies

Richard L. Oliver, emeritus professor at Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management, died June 13 at his home in Nashville. He was 71.


 
 

Vanderbilt University School of Nursing earns national CCNE accreditation

Vanderbilt University School of Nursing has received accreditation from the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education for its master of science in nursing degree, doctorate in nursing practice and post-master’s certificate programs for a five-year period through 2021.


 
 

Additional officers bolster police presence, security at VUMC

To bolster an already visible presence, Vanderbilt University Police Department, a Vanderbilt University unit that provides safety and security services to Vanderbilt University Medical Center, recently recruited and has deployed an additional 30 new Community Service Officers, who are now serving in strategically identified locations throughout the Medical Center’s 21st Avenue campus.
