Undergraduate Research Fair and poster session Sept. 22

The third annual Vanderbilt Undergraduate Research Fair is scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 22. The event will showcase universitywide, interdisciplinary student research through poster presentations and information sessions.


AlertVU test scheduled for Sept. 7

Vanderbilt will conduct a test of its AlertVU emergency notification system on Wednesday, Sept. 7. AlertVU sends emergency messages in the event of an imminent threat or danger to the Vanderbilt community.


Enrollment Bulletin website gathers academic resources in single spot

The Office of the University Registrar has created the Enrollment Bulletin, a new website intended as a singular source for students, faculty and staff to find useful information related to enrollment policies and procedures at Vanderbilt.


Welcome back reception for women faculty is Wednesday

The Margaret Cuninggim Women’s Center and the Women’s and Gender Studies Program will host a reception for women faculty on Wednesday, Aug. 31.


Reminder: Labor Day time reporting

As a reminder, employees who do not work on Labor Day, Sept. 5, should report their time off as PTO. Vanderbilt University’s enhanced program, which separates holidays from PTO, takes effect Oct. 1.

Promotional products, food and fun at supplier fair tomorrow

Vanderbilt University’s Trademark Licensing office and Procurement Services will host a supplier fair from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 30, at the Student Life Center ballroom. Come meet 30 of Vanderbilt’s approved merchandise suppliers as they showcase a variety of products.


Football opener will affect some automobile parking Thursday

The Vanderbilt football team opens its 2016 season on Thursday, Sept. 1, with a nationally televised game against South Carolina. With the game being played on a workday, some adjustments to parking and traffic flow are necessary.


Are you the greenest group on campus?

Your group could win a catered VIP tailgate event for 20 people, 20 tickets to the game, an autographed item from Vanderbilt athletics, and on-field recognition at the Vanderbilt vs. Florida football game on Oct. 1.


Fidelity one-on-one consultations now available at Baker Building

Scheduling a Fidelity on-one-on consultation just got even easier. The free sessions, available to all employees, are now being held in the Baker Building, located at 110 21st Ave. S.
