Mental health and well-being events kick off with Chancellor’s Town Hall today

Vanderbilt faculty, staff and students are invited to attend a series of January events designed to further conversations around healthy help-seeking behavior and creating a culture in which the stigma of seeking support can be eradicated.

Vivien Casagrande, a neuroscientist and professor at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine noted for her many contributions to the visual sciences, died peacefully at her home on Jan. 21. She was 74.


 
 

Provost names faculty committee to advise on major investment in graduate education and research

Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Susan R. Wente has appointed a seven-member faculty committee to synthesize ideas submitted by each school and college into a set of recommendations for significant new investments in graduate education and research at Vanderbilt.
