Commodores contribute more than $2.5 million to Vanderbilt in 24 hours

Commodores across the globe came together on June 15 to show their pride and “give for the gold” on Vanderbilt’s second annual Giving Day. Some 5,654 alumni and friends made contributions totaling more than $2.5 million and secured a $500,000 challenge gift.

Peabody College students garner $50K Green Fund award

Peabody College students Abby Wei, Paul Garrard and Zainab Khan have received a $50,000 Vanderbilt Green Fund award to install sensory detectors in the stairways of residential buildings on campus to conserve energy and increase safety.
