Vanderbilt rose to 14th place this year, its highest ranking to date, after holding at No. 15 the two previous years.


 
 

Seventh cohort of Vanderbilt Leadership Academy convenes

The seventh cohort of the Vanderbilt Leadership Academy commenced Sept. 11. Established by Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos in 2011, VLA is a nine-month learning journey for high-performing leaders from academic and administrative areas at both Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

New TIPs-funded autism innovation center kicks off its work

The Vanderbilt Center for Autism and Innovation, funded by a 2017 TIPs grant, kicked off its work with a launch event at the Wond’ry last month. The center brings together engineers, scientists, disabilities researchers and business scholars from across campus to collaborate on how the talents of people on the autism spectrum can be better matched with business needs. Equifax announces safeguards in wake of data breach

On Sept. 7, Equifax announced that it had suffered a cybersecurity data breach. The company is allowing all U.S. consumers to sign up for one year of free credit monitoring.
