Women’s tennis advances to fourth-straight NCAA Final Four

The Commodores advanced past Florida State, 4-0, in the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament on Saturday to set up a Final Four matchup against Georgia Tech slated to begin at 9 a.m. Monday.


 
 

SafeVU is getting an upgrade; new app available July 1

The existing SafeVU app will expire on June 30. The new-and-improved app will be available July 1 and will require existing SafeVU users to delete the old app and download the new one.

The University Staff Advisory Council welcomed Vice Chancellor for Communications Steve Ertel as speaker at its May meeting. Last year, Chancellor Nicholas S. Zeppos identified the need to pull the communications functions from the Division of Public Affairs and recruited Ertel to champion the restructure.


 
 

Faculty invited to apply by June 1 for SEC travel grant program

Vanderbilt faculty are encouraged to apply by June 1 to the 2018–19 Southeastern Conference Visiting Faculty Travel Grant Program. Grants typically run from $1,500 to $3,500.


 
 

Diversity lecture on pregnancy and cardiovascular health set for June 4

Pregnancy, cardiovascular disease and maternal mortality will be the topics when the University of Illinois at Chicago’s Mulubrhan F.
