A five-year National Cancer Institute grant will fund an interdisciplinary research center for the study of small cell lung cancer, a highly aggressive, incurable form of the disease.


Protection of Minors policy compliance and updates to the POM application coming June 25

Summer 2018 marks the five-year anniversary of Vanderbilt’s institution-wide policy for the protection of minors (POM). Personnel working with minors are required to be compliant with the policy. Meanwhile, updates are coming to the POM web application used for program and event registration.


Submit nominations for Chancellor’s Heart and Soul staff awards

Nominations are open for the Chancellor’s Heart and Soul Staff Appreciation Awards, which recognize everyday dedication and contributions. The deadline is July 31.

SafeVU is getting an upgrade; new app available July 1

The existing SafeVU app will expire June 30. The new-and-improved app will be available July 1 and will require existing SafeVU users to delete the old app and download the new one.
