Summer 2018 marks the five-year anniversary of Vanderbilt’s institution-wide policy for the protection of minors (POM). Personnel working with minors are required to be compliant with the policy. The existing SafeVU app will expire June 30. The new-and-improved app will be available July 1 and will require existing SafeVU users to delete the old app and download the new one.

As Vanderbilt University and Vanderbilt University Medical Center continue to restructure into distinct entities, many shared technical systems must be reconfigured. Beginning June 25, Vanderbilt University will move to a new identity management tool called VU Identity.
