Renovated Eskind library opens, prepared to support training of future generations of physicians

The Annette and Irwin Eskind Family Biomedical Library and Learning Center opened July 18 after a yearlong, $12.9 million renovation to support the continuing evolution of medical education.


Grant to develop method of measuring medical trust in African American men

Vanderbilt researchers have received a two-year, $250,000 grant from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to develop a new way to measure trust in African American men as it relates to health care.

New Campus Planning and Construction office created

Effective Aug. 1, the Renovation and Small Construction office will merge with the Office of Capital Projects to form the Campus Planning and Construction team. Save the date: Employee Appreciation Day at Dyer Observatory is Aug. 10

Employee Appreciation invites you to enjoy an afternoon at Vanderbilt Dyer Observatory on Friday, Aug. 10. Dyer team members will provide physics experiments and solar telescopes. The free event is open to university employees and their families.
