‘The Hate U Give’ author to speak Feb. 13; book discussion set for Jan. 31
 
Angie Thomas, author of the best-selling young-adult novel “The Hate U Give,” will deliver a keynote lecture to the Vanderbilt community on Feb. 13. In addition, Vice Chancellor for Equity, Diversity and Inclusion and Chief Diversity Officer James Page Jr. will host a discussion of the book on Jan. 31 in advance of her visit.

The VandyVans stop on 24th Avenue has been relocated to the lot in front of Carmichael Towers East, and many parking lots within the West End Neighborhood will close permanently over winter break, including fraternity and sorority lots, as the area transforms to become more accessible and pedestrian-centric.
