Getting Started Teaching at Vanderbilt: This site, sponsored by the Center for Teaching and the Office of the Provost, is designed to address some of those questions along with a quick answer and a resource to consult or contact for further information. Teaching Guides: The CFT has prepared guides to a variety of teaching topics with summaries of best practices, links to other online resources, and information about local Vanderbilt resources. New Teachers: People new to college teaching might benefit from this web page. International Faculty: International faculty may want to explore this page specifically for people new to teaching in the United States. Vanderbilt Undergraduates: This web page provides information specifically about the undergrad student body. Teaching at Vanderbilt (TAV) Orientation: In late August, the Center for Teaching and the Office of the Provost will host a teaching orientation for all faculty new to Vanderbilt. Services for Individuals: At any time of the year, Center for Teaching consultants are available to work with faculty teaching, or preparing to teach, at Vanderbilt.
